About the Incubators, Accelerators
and Equity - Foundational Support for Health Innovation 2022 Award

The Prix Galien Award on Incubators, Accelerators and Equity – Foundational Support for Health Innovation would be given periodically – not necessarily annually – to an individual or an institution whose cumulative committment has:
1 led to novel, medically significant understandings around biology and disease pathways, the application of which has resulted in the opening of new fields for drug discovery: and
2 translation of this research into specific therapeutic interventions that benefit patients, including products that may have been previously recognized as such by the Prix Galien.

Founders and Leaders of Incubators, Accelerators, Venture Capital and Private Equity Firms who institute, support, encourage and sponsor science-based businesses that invent new modalities or therapeutic approaches to tackle the huge unmet needs in human health.
